A defeat by 7-2  with both Liz & Mark and Jackie & Adam  taking a game each, while Mel & Vic although losing 3 took two of their games to 3.

Excellent play from Adam and  Mark  to take 2 games and the one they lost to 3 games.


Lesser support from Vic & Paul /Andy & Vince gave a final result of 2/7 and the postage saved again!!!




The spectators found it a bit cold and clung together.

Defeat at Ashbourne 24th November

Due to sickness and work commitmnets we were only able to field 2 pairs.

Mark & Adam won all 3 games  6-1 .... 143 -113 points. Great!!

Paul & Vince lost all 3 games  0-6 .... 66-126 points. Hey ho!!

Very sociable and accommodating opponents, whose non-playing Captain kept our scorebook. We lost 6-3 ....365-209

A downside was the need to pay for parking at £1.90 for 2hours from a machine that didn't seem to dispense change!!! Still QBC saved on postage!!!

Another Mixed win against Ripley B

14th November ... a warm night ... and the mixed team of Vic & Mel, Mark & Liz, Adam & Jackie triumphed yet again this time  6-3  aces 420 - 349 with each pair picking up 2 games and losing 1. Cost the postage again ... but is promotion in sight?????

Men's Team win against ROLLS ROYCE "E"

31st October Despite having only 2 pairs Mark & Adam ..Vic & Andy the team triumphed 5-4. On the night the thought was that although they wonthe resutl was to the visitors as we only fielded a team of twom pairs. So the losers posted the RESULT card thinking they'd won. They hadn't .Quarndon won but were penalised by a point for the short team.  TREMENDOUS!

Vic and Mel despite losing the 1st Rubber  to 3  took the 2nd  in 2 and in the  3rd took the third game to have a final result  of 2-1 Points (147-150)
