Mens Match Wednesday 24th October

Mens v The Nook 24/10/12 Lost 6-3.
Mark & Adam won all 3,
Jim &Scott and Vic&Edward lost all games.
But an enjoyable evening all round.Scott & Jim lost 1 game to 18 and Vic & Ed lost 1 to 17 so at our place.....

Men's Match 10th October ABBEY DUNKIRK

Abbey Dunkirk with blue floor and pale blue and white walls play with coloured shuttles!!!
 A prompt start on 3 courts saw us lose the the 1st 3 games. Dropping to two courts didn't improve matters and the end result was  a 9-0.   Support from John &  Jim , who kept the score book  was appreciated.
Adam & Deane ran some close games overall losing 3-0 126/92 points.

Vic & Paul again lost 3-0 but managed to win one game and came out with 148/100 points overall

Scott and Edward a new combination did well in their first games with 15/16  points. As with the others it was overall   3-0 126/66 points.

The consolation was points were almost doubled... 402/258 when compared to the Uttoxeter defeat of 378/139  .... and we were away from home! As someone said we would have beaten them at HOME!!!
A good match with hospitable and friendly opposition.

1st Men's of 2012/13 Season

1st October and a full team. Opposition Uttoxeter.
A prompt start and games somewhat out of sequence ... however against "CLASS " opposition we didn't fare too well.

points over all 139 - 378    some games we managed to pass 10 with applause from Mel!!!
