Match Men's Rolls Royce 18th Nov 2013

A reasonable and prompt start with Vic & Paul going down in 3 in the first rubber. Overall 121/147 - 1/6 - 0/3

Simon & Scott , although going down in two games in the first rubber, in the 2nd game only lost by 27/29 . Their third rubber was also closely contested with both games going to 20/22 points.

Overall 117/136 - 0/6 - 0/3

Mark & Dean took all three rubbers, with 2 going to 3 games.
Overall 159/111 - 6/2 - 3/0

Thanks to the Lady supporter from R.R, who managed the score books and also agreed to deliver the Result Card ... thus saving postage!!!A cold evening overall result - 397/394 - 7/15 - 3/6

Match against University on 10th November

3 courts available at 1.00 p.m. and we were all ready to go. Scott & Simon 1st pair had steady play in all three games but going down 0-3 / 93-126 points despite one game going to 19 points.

Edward and & Zak had equally steady play but with same result going down 0-3 / 89-126 and also with one game going to 19 points.

Vic & Paul maintained the overall " "team form" going down 0-3 / 96-126 with 3 games going to 18 points.

Overall not an unpleasant experience a good hall (lights excepted) with the use of 3 courts, sporting opposition and a finish before 3.00p.m. 0-9 / 278-378.

Mens Against Abbey Dunkirk 4th November

A good evening off promptly with Vic and Paul playing games 1, 5 & 9 Conceeding game 1 fairly easily and only coming into form in game 9 losing 22/24 in the final game.
